  £50 Half Day Course Spring 2012

We have been running  nursery tours for horticultural and other groups for 10 years now which have been very popular. We were repeatedly asked whether we run courses on growing and propagating Citrus.

We are now running regular courses throughout the year and thoroughly enjoy doing so.

The course  covers all aspects of Citrus growing at the nursery, including the basics like potting on and the reasoning behind our compost mix, feeding, watering, temperature control and pruning.

We also give a overview of the many different types of Citrus and their relatives here on the nursery.

On the full days course, in the afternoon, we cover propagating which will involve rootstock choice, cuttings, grafting and you will be given the opportunity of grafting your own plant to take home with you.

The cost per head for the full day is £75 including the plant you graft and light refreshments and £50 for the half day including light refreshments.
